Stella Artois traces its brewing heritage in Leuven to 1366 and was launched as a Christmas beer in 1926. Its chalice glass and nine-step pouring ritual position it as a premium pilsner worldwide; part of AB InBev.
Tasting notes
Belgium's most famous pilsner, brewed in Leuven since 1926. Pale gold with a crisp, floral hop aroma from Saaz hops, a clean malt backbone and a distinctive dry, slightly bitter finish. Served in its own chalice, it remains a premium mainstream staple across the on-trade.
