About GloBev Duty Free
GloBev Duty Free is the EU duty-free and bonded-trade business of the Drinks21 group. We hold stock under duty suspension in the Netherlands and supply duty-free operators, travel retail, bonded wholesalers and importers across the European Union.
1. Who we are
Globev Duty Free Limited is registered in Ireland (CRN 563408) with its registered office at Bornaltra, Coonanstown, Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow, W91 F5H6, and trades from a bonded warehouse in the Netherlands under VAT NL 826348828B01. We are a business-to-business supplier: we quote in euro, ship EXW Netherlands and invoice by pro forma. We do not sell to consumers.
2. One group, three routes to market
Drinks21 was established in 2008 as an international drinks distributor. Today the group runs three complementary businesses: Drinks21 for UK and international export, General Wine & Liquor for the Hampshire on-trade, and GloBev Duty Free for genuine EU duty-free supply from bond. Brands work with us because we deliver volume and distribution across all three channels with one relationship.
3. Why an Irish company for EU duty free
GloBev is incorporated in Ireland and trades entirely within the EU customs and excise framework. That means EU-status (T2) goods move under a single set of rules, without the additional UK import formalities that apply to shipments from Great Britain. For an EU buyer it is simpler paperwork, fewer touchpoints and faster release.
4. Clean data on every line
Every product carries its HansaWorld code, EAN, case GTIN, HS code and customs status. Your buying, customs and warehouse teams start from the same numbers we use, and our AI policy makes the same facts available to the assistants your team may use to research suppliers.
5. How we work with buyers
Approved trade accounts request quotes or place orders, receive a pro forma in euro, and goods are released from bond on cleared funds with the movement documents the shipment needs. 6. Our team
GloBev Duty Free and Drinks21 are run by the same four people. Trade buyers deal directly with the person who quotes, ships and invoices their order.
