Founded in 1942 by Don Julio González in the Jalisco Highlands, Don Julio is made from fully matured 100% blue Weber agave and was one of the first tequilas positioned as a luxury sipping spirit. Now part of Diageo, it is the leading premium tequila in travel retail and high-end on-trade worldwide.
Tasting notes
Aged eighteen months in reclaimed American whiskey barrels for a deeper, more contemplative style. Rich agave, toasted oak and butterscotch on the nose; the palate brings wild honey, dried fruit and a long, warming finish. Best served neat or over a single large cube as a digestif.
