Founded in 1879 by James Fleming on the banks of the River Lour in Speyside, Aberlour is a Pernod Ricard single malt renowned for its double cask maturation in traditional oak and Oloroso sherry casks. A staple of European travel retail and premium on-trade listings.
Tasting notes
Finished in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Deep aromas of raisin, fig and dark chocolate; a rich, velvety palate of Christmas cake, orange peel and sweet spice, with a very long, sherried finish.
